Nach 18 Monaten intensiver Klang- und Bildforschung erscheint
nun am 25. November 2011 das erste Werk der Medienkünstler
T3AFO mit
dem mehr als passenden Titel »Welcome To The Fine Machine«.
Innen wie außen ein Kleinod zeitgenössischer Ton- und
Bildkunst, beschreiten T3AFO
hier Neuland in Sachen »Release« in Zeiten der Totenweihung physicher
Bild-Tonträger. Ganz nach dem Prinzip, dass T3AFOerfahren statt konsumiert werden muss, hält die
kleine Metallbox eine Audio-CD, eine DVD, ein Booklet und diverse
Drucksachen bereit. Jede Box ist von Hand zusammengestellt, verpackt
und individuell nummeriert. Ferner durchläuft der Inhalt eine
permanente Überarbeitung: so fügen T3AFO
nach jedem Live-Event neues visuelles Material von den Konzerten
in den SCENARIO 1 Film ein. So wird jede Box zu einem nahezu
individuellem Erlebnis, dass in seinen innovativen Inhalten seinem
edel anmutendem Äußeren in nichts nachsteht. Die schöne Box erscheint
europaweit am 25.11.2011, ist aber bereits jetzt in unserem Webshop
erhältlich.

After eighteen months of intense research in image and sound,
media artists T3AFO
release their first physical product aptly named »Welcome
To The Fine Machine«. It's a precious item from the contents
as it is from the outside and furthermore a playful masterwork
of contemporary multimedia art. T3AFO
consciously decided to walk the path of releasing a physical-only
product in times of the decline of physical products within the
music market, following their obligatory principle and idea that
T3AFO has
to be experienced instead of simply being consumed.
The box's contents reveals an Audio-CD containing a fine compilation
of aurally researched material, a DVD with concert footage, an
8-paged booklet and some printed paraphernalia. Each box is packaged
by hand and individually numbered. As a very unique way of presentation,
T3AFO update
the DVD after every given live performance editing new footage
from the last concert to the SCENARIO 1 film, in doing
so providing the collector with a surprise item underlining the
uniqueness of T3AFO's
philosophy in product presentation. The box is being released
